The Circle | a sacred space

Arkitekt circles are a place where you can rediscover your original blueprint through storytelling, study, and community reflections.

We offer:

  • WORDS (Curriculum + Coursework) so we have language to name our experiences

  • SPACE (Circle Practice) once a month 3 1/2 hour Circle (both online & in-person offerings). Facilitated guidance in storytelling, radical listening, and generous reflection. We call this the Practice Room.

  • COMMUNITY (Kindreds) Joining a Circle helps you heal in community. You will find women to witness your journey and support you along the way, as well as connection with the greater network of Arkitekt Circles.

    Each Arkitekt Circle includes:

  • a 3 1/2-hour immersive community experience

  • Embodiment Practice

  • Mindfulness Practice

  • Roundtable Sharing

  • Community Reflections

Roundtable Sharing | the center of the circle

Roundtable Sharing is the heart of circle. This is a time where Kindreds can listen to the wisdom of their own soul and the souls of those around the circle as each woman shares reflections on the monthly Curriculum + Coursework.

This is where we name and unname ourselves into remembering who we truly are.

This is an exercise in radical proximity, and a place to encounter our Belovedness, resilience, and inner wisdom informed by bell hooks work with “Confession and Memory.”

When you orient towards personal healing, you are also catalyzing communal and generational healing.

We call this the SO THAT component.

We practice Coming Home To Ourselves SO THAT we might help others return home.

Freedom births freedom.

Free people who RISE UP and USE THEIR VOICE to bring LOVE and LIGHT into the world are a force to be reckoned with.

Expect the reckoning.

Used constructively, CONFESSION and MEMORY are tools that heighten self-awareness; they need not make us solely inward-looking.

To reaffirm the POWER OF THE PERSONAL while simultaneously not getting trapped in IDENTITY POLITICS, we must work to link personal narratives with knowledge of how we must act politically to change and transform the world.
